Satellite Navigation System

Kurumoch International Airport became the first Russian airport to implement satellite approach patterns. These patterns provide a least time-track for aircraft on approach to landing. This helps to save aviation equipment usage, fuel and passengers time and improves flight safety.

Full Standard Preflight Briefing

In 2005 the Airport added a Full Standard Briefing in accordance with ICAOs flight control standards. Pilots can now obtain all necessary preflight information such as adverse conditions, synopsis, current weather conditions, en route forecast, destination forecast, and any other meteorological and aeronautical data they request. The resulting air navigation decisions can now be performed at a much more informed and therefore safer level.

Quality Management System

Kurumoch International Airport has successfully completed its certification audit to ISO 9000:2008. The certification has confirmed that the Airport services fully comply with modern internationally expected standards. The primary objectives of the Airport's quality management (those of passenger, baggage, cargo, mail and customer airlines aircraft handling - including navigational support, aerodrome flight support and prompt aircraft maintenance, flight safety, flight regularity and aviation security) have all met with the auditors approval.
