Kurumoch International Airport is expanding its business and invites your Airline to open up new routes into the Samara region through us.

Kurumoch International Airport is the largest and busiest airport of the Central Volga region and ranks among Russia’s top ten airports. It is located 19 miles (30 km) north of the city of Samara, conveniently placed to serve the most industrially developed and densely populated cities of the Volga region, with their combined population of over 11 million people.

Kurumoch International Airport has federal status and is situated at the intersection of the most important regional traffic arteries, has a well-developed infrastructure and is now regarded as an air transport hub in the emerging national network of airports.

Kurumoch was the first Russian airport to implement a satellite approach system and the first to add a Full Standard Briefing in accordance with ICAO’s flight control standards.

A multilevel security system is in operation at the Airport. The system covers all areas of passenger, cargo and mail security, from the preparation of in-flight meals and cabin inspections to the security of the Airport territory and facilities. The Airport terminals are equipped with new fifth-generation screening equipment and the Aviation Security and Safety Service is fully equipped with all necessary screening devices, radio communication and video surveillance aids.

At the Airport many modern technologies and innovations are in use, including automated passenger check-in and baggage handling systems, an Integrated Airport Management Information System, a biometric identification system for frequent fliers, and passenger profiling.

At present, Kurumoch International Airport is being dynamically developed and actively implementing the Reconstruction and Modernization Project of the whole airport complex.

The Airport operates 24 hours a day and has two runways of 3,001 m and 2,548 m in length arranged perpendicularly to each other. Each runway approach is equipped with modern Category I instrument landing Systems (ILS). There are also 50 aircraft stands, a system of terminals covering an area of 11,340 m2, and an air cargo complex with the capacity to handle up to 200 tonnes a day.

Kurumoch International Airport receives practically all aircraft types and has all the necessary ground equipment to provide high-quality aircraft maintenance, combined with the availability of aviation fuel without limitation.
